A postdoctoral position is available in the Ehrlich lab at the University of Texas at Austin to use 2-photon microscopy to study T cell differentiation and selection, as well as the role of the tumor microenvironment in T-ALL.
This position is available immediately and is ideal for highly motivated and talented applicants with expertise in intravital 2-photon microscopy techniques and associated image analysis. Expertise in Immunology would be ideal, though not required.
Required qualifications: PhD within the last 2 years in biological sciences, with considerable experience in 2-photon intravital microscopy and downstream image analysis in a programming environment such as Matlab or R. Experience with mouse models and basic cell and molecular biology techniques.
Preferred qualifications: Expertise in Immunology; experience with multi-parameter FACS/flow cytometry; experience with immunostaining and fluorescence microscopy; experience with transcriptional profiling.
