Multiple postdoctoral positions are available in the Quantitative Imaging and Inference (QI2) lab, directed by Dr. Shepherd, at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, USA. The QI2 lab develops and applies quantitative imaging methods to study lineage specification and cell identity during lung development.

These NIH and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative funded positions are available immediately. These positions are ideal for highly motivated and talented applicants with 1) an interest in developing and applying high-speed, high-resolution, and multiplexed 3D tissue imaging methods or 2) an interest in applying multiplexed 3D imaging methods to understand how cell identity changes during development and the spatial arrangement of cell type in human tissue.

Required qualifications: Ph.D. in biophysics, physics, electrical engineering, biochemistry, or related field. Experience in developing and applying a quantitative imaging assay to study cellular behavior, spatial cell organization, or tissue architecture.

Preferred qualifications: Experience designing and implement custom coherent or incoherent microscope modalities. Experience with light sheet imaging, tissue clearing, RNA-FISH panel design, and RNA-FISH image analysis. Experience with multiplexed imaging and image analysis.

To apply for this position, please visit https://physics.asu.edu/content/postdoctoral-research-scholar-job-14005 or email Dr. Shepherd ([hidden email]) for more details. Review of applicants will begin September 3rd, 2019 and continue until filled.
