Dear colleague,
The deadline for submitting abstracts for the 2017 Conference on Quantitative BioImaging (QBI), has been extended to September 30, 2016. We have received a number of submissions already but have also had multiple requests for an extension of the submission deadline. Therefore, we will keep the abstract submission open till September 30. If you have not already done so, please submit your abstracts for posters or contributed talks using our online abstract submission system at: http://www.quantitativebioimaging.com/apps/abstractsubmission/
This will be the fifth conference in this series focusing on the quantitative analysis of bioimaging data in an interdisciplinary manner, and is to be held from January 5-7, 2017, at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA. It will bring together researchers from engineering, (bio)physics, biology, and chemistry who work on quantitative aspects of microscopy.
Our Keynote speakers are:
- Ernst Stelzer, Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences, Frankfurt, Germany
- Marino Zerial, Max Planck Institute Dresden, Germany
- Robert Singer, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA
So far, we have the following confirmed Invited Speakers:
C. Calderon (Denver, USA); C. Cogswell (Boulder, USA); S. Cox (London, UK); J. Hancock (Houston, TX); Y. Kalaidzidis (Dresden, Germany); P. Kner (Athens, Georgia, USA); U. Kubitscheck (Bonn, Germany); E. Lemke (Heidelberg, Germany); K. Lidke (Albuquerque, NM, USA); J. Liphardt (Stanford, USA); J. Mansfield (Andor Technologies Ltd); J-C. Olivo-Marin (Paris, France); D.
