Question about Cell Labeling Dye

Dear listers,

One of our facility user wants to record a live cell vedio and has a problem with labeling the cells.
She wants to see two type of cells merging into each other and is more interested in seeing membrane fusion. She has one cell transfected with GFP and would like to have another cell in red. The whole process might be 4-6 hours or even longer.

Which dye is most suitable for this experiment?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yi

Re: Question about Cell Labeling Dye

Try CellVue on the non-gfp line at far red excitations.
