Regional Cytometry Meeting
Northwest Cytometry
User's Group and Cascade Cytometry User's Group are pleased to announce the
2009 Northwest Regional Cytometry meeting, which will be held at the Fred
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC), Seattle, WA,
March 13 – 14.
Presentations at
this meeting will address the use of cytometry in both hematologic and
epithelial disease evaluation. Speakers include Brian Reid (FHCRC, Seattle),
Jeannine Holden (Emory University Hospital,
Atlanta), Maurice O'Gorman (Children's Memorial Hospital,
Chicago), Steve Kussick (Phenopath, Seattle),
and Tony Bakke (Oregon Health and Science
University, Portland). Vendor talks and a poster session
will accompany the meeting.
Events in association
with the NW regional cytometry meeting will be held at the FHCRC on March 12 –
14.
- FloCyte Training Institute will be offering two
courses taught by Dr. Tim Bushnell: Data Analysis (March 12) and Multiparameter

- The Flow Informatics and Computational
Cytometry Society (FICCS, http://www.ficcs.org/)
will be meeting on March 13, contact Ryan Brinkman [hidden email]

- A ½ day Cytometry Program for middle and
high school teachers will be held on March 14.
