The 2011 Northwest Regional Cytometry Meeting, “Cytometry data: Mining,
modeling, and management”, will be held March 24 – 26 at OHSU. An
outstanding roster of more than 20 speakers includes Leonore Herzenberg, Joe
Gray, Garry Nolan, Paul Robinson, Holden Maecker, Ger van den Engh, and
Bruce Bagwell. This is a full program, and one not to miss. Last day to
register is March 19 (but walk-ins are also welcome). The program includes
FICCS7 (with –omics, imaging, and flow sessions), two FloCyte courses, “Data
analysis” and “Standardization” (separate FloCyte registration), vendor
talks, as well as Saturday software practicums. Google ‘2011 nwrcm’ for

A few practical details:
1. When booking a hotel for the meeting, ask for the OHSU rate.
2. All attendees are encouraged to use public transportation up the hill
(bus #8). If you must park, valet-assisted aisle parking is available on the
hill (

OHSU parking at 503-494-8283 for more information. (Vendors have separate
parking arrangements for moving conference material.)
3. When registering, please check off on all sessions and meals you’ll
be attending. This information is used for ordering meals and arranging the
Saturday practicums.
