Zeiss will sell you a box full of empty objective cases,.
the screw cap ones that objective are delivered in.
Tell them what sizes you need, RMS and M27 threads a redifferent sizes!

in the box, with the cap at the top,
so the lens is pointing down,
so stuff does not land on the lens surface.
(not that it will as its in a sealed plastic coffin anyway)
works for us....
