Only because I did not see it mentioned yet, I use Splashtop for remote admin of all of the PCs in my facility. I also use it to help users when I am unable to assist in person (it has a nice chat via text box feature which I use along with Slack). Splashtop is not free, but I and our Mass Spec facility split the cost, making it priceless.
