Dear List Members ,

My company will be going to auction with unprecedented offering of lightly used Olympus confocal units and a large quantity of spare parts , we purchased these unit under the assumption they were complete units , which would have been  a great resource for all the member on this list to purchase like new high end Olympus confocal units at a fraction the cost , unfortunately  after we received the units to our storage facility and had them inspected by industry experts we found that there were some missing components that were withheld from us that would have made the units whole. These units have all the main components and could be a great addition to your research centers and if you have a great relationship with Olympus you could possibly get them to make the units whole again , or if you have the knowledge and time you could make them whole on your own...The list of what we will be offering is below , once we get the sale up and going I will forward the link for your review...If anyone has any questions feel free to email me ..

PS I have had some of your peers inspect  what we have and they were all very  impressed to see all of these units sitting in one room,  if we could have gotten Olympus to work with us and make the units whole again this could have been a win/ win for all involved as list members with small budgets could have gotten high quality confocal units at a fraction of the cost for the very important lifesaving research you all do ...

Regards, Matt

Hello,

The power supply box for the Argon laser on our old Olympus Fluoview 300 system exploded.
In order to check the laser condition I need this box but I was told by Olympus it is not available from the vendor : Melles Griot.

Could anybody lend me a unit to test the laser? Or sell/donate one ( I will cover the shipping charges of course).

cheers and have a lovely day

Magdalena

Dear all,

we want to upgrade our Abberior STED on an Olympus stand with the
Olympus IX3-ZDC-12 z-drift compensation unit. The system is managed with
the Imspector software.
There is some sort of prize gap between Olympus and Abberior, in a
rather unreasonable manner.
We would like to get the unit built into our microscope stand directly
from Olympus. Does anyone have experience on the neccessary improvments,
which then will have to be done within the Imspector software, as
Olympus does not deliver that.

Many thanks for everey valuable input .

Cheers, Ralf
