Hi

GCaMP3 is very bright and takes about 1-2 weeks for it to reach full expression
potential. YC3.6 is not as bright but doesn't have detrimental effects on the cells
for about 2 months. GCaMP3 will start making cells sick within 3 weeks. It's very
much density dependent so combining the dye with an agent that increases the
spread will help a lot. Also, injecting at a slower rate (~.5um/min) increases
spread greatly.
