I did not experience the problem myself but as I wrote in my email to Yokogawa, several people who participate to discussions on the confocal microscopy server list have reported the dust problems as you can see yourself using this link<http://confocal-microscopy-list.588098.n2.nabble.com/>.

I am sure that they will contact you directly to get help.

I would advice Yokogawa to register and follow the confocal microscopy list in the future so that you can hear about problems with Yokogawa products when they are reported.

I'm Manabu Fueki, in charge of QA.
I apologize for inconvenience.
As for the dust issue of CSU-W1, we have made some countermeasures. The latest countermeasure reduces the dust dramatically. We've tested it for about one year on the field test in Japan.
Yokogawa has already fan out this countermeasure on CSU-W1 delivered in and after October of 2016 and Yokogawa never get any dust claim from Japan market so far.

Would you please tell me the distributer of CSU system? I ask the distributer to clean and take the countermeasure to your CSU-W1.
If you don't know the distributer, please tell me Serial Number of the CSU-W1. I can tell the distributer.
