Hi All,

A position is available immediately in the Centre for Dynamic Imaging at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research based in Melbourne, Australia. The CDI is a core facility dedicated to providing researchers who study cancer, inflammatory and infectious diseases with expert advice and assistance on how to apply cutting edge microscopy to their work. We're looking for someone to join our team who has a PhD in Physics, Engineering or Biology and experience building and customising laser based optical microscopy platforms, preferably those based on light sheet or super-resolution microscopy. The successful candidate should also have experience in image analysis or working with programming software (e.g. MatLab, LabView).

The position is available for 2 years in the first instance. Salary range is $83,953 - $90,114 (Academic Level A). Up to 17% superannuation and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
