I wonder if the DeltaVision microscope systems, and even OMX,
that always do know their OTF (so long as you mounted the sample and chose the right immersion oil)
could be persuaded to store the OTF image along with the z stack...

thats one place where this really could/should be used?

At least in an OME database, one might also have the OTFs from the deltavision microscope system,
so that the OTF and image could be linked somehow?

Our preference would be to get this happening in a number of file formats.  it will be on the things to add for compliance, certainly.
