If you are looking for compact and user friendly stage top incubators, you may also want to consider the ibidi Heating (http://ibidi.com/xtproducts/en/Instruments-Accessories/Heating-Incubation-Systems/ibidi-Heating-System-Universal-Fit) and Gas Incubation Systems (http://ibidi.com/xtproducts/en/Instruments-Accessories/Heating-Incubation-Systems/ibidi-Gas-Incubation-System). These German manufactured systems are designed to fit all inverted microscopes (that have a wellplate holder) and allow for all live-cell imaging applications including high resolution, TIRF, and confocal microscopy. Additionally, the ibidi Heating and Gas Incubation Systems are standalone units (require no laptop to operate) and have a relatively small footprint (the controller is 90 x 170 x 230 mm). Lastly (and perhaps most importantly) the systems are incredibly competatively priced compared to other systems on the market.

Dear all,

In our facility, we are looking to purchase a stage top incubator in order to do short term live cell imaging (5-30 min). We found two models that look compact (similar size of a wellplate) and user friendly: the Okolab H301-MINI and the Tokai Hit WELSX.

Does any anyone has positive or negative experience with one of those?


Any feedback to help us make a decision will be highly appreciated.
