A problem of using multiwell plates is that the liquid forms a meniscus at the edges of the well - which messes up transmitted light images.
Does anyone know of a coating that when applied to the sides of a plastic well would make its surface tension equal to that of water - thereby eliminating  the meniscus.
Or is it possible to change the surface tension of the liquid ?
