Dear fellow microscopists,
I’d like to draw your attention to the second 2-day workshop for beginners
in bioimaging: Basics of Bioimaging and Light Microscopy. The workshop is
provided by BCB LM core at the Warwick Medical School, University of
Warwick, UK.
The workshop will be held November 10-11 at the Warwick Medical School,
Coventry, UK.
Participants will be provided with a digest of most important elements of
bioimaging and light microscopy in two days, providing both theoretical
knowledge and practical tips.
Further information about the workshop could be found at our webpage:
http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/med/research/biomedical/imagefactory/workshopThe aim of the workshop is to support students/staff involved in imaging of
biological specimens to suitably plan/perform imaging and efficiently handle
resulting digital data.
In particular participants will you learn:
• Which light microscope is best for your sample?
• Understanding and processing digital images
• How to use off- and online data sources on microscopy and image processing
for your own benefit
Registration is open now and must be made online at:
http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/med/research/biomedical/imagefactory/courses/microscopy_workshop/registration/Number of participants is limited, please register as soon as possible!
Registration deadline is October 25.
