Dear all,

we are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 2020 Core Facility Leadership and Management Course by GerBI-GMB and hfp consulting, which will take place from the 24th to 28th of May 2020 in Konstanz - Reichenau Island (Germany).

The evaluation results of the course in June 2019 were excellent, but participants felt that a 3.5 days course is too short. For this reason, we have extended the course to four full days. Core facility managers find themselves in a variety of different roles that demand a broad set of skills they traditionally haven't been taught in their academic career. GerBI-GMB has hired hfp consulting, a group who specialises in supporting scientists to improve their leadership and management skills, to develop and run an intense, interactive and highly specialised workshop that addresses these challenges.
