Sent for Ian Munro, Imperial College:
Dear All
Following on from the recent release of OMERO 5.0.4 we are pleased to
announce the release of version 4.7.1 of the high-speed, open-source
Fluorescence Lifetime fitting and visualisation tool FLIMfit.
This new version can import data stored as .sdt .msr and also .bin files
( file formats from Becker & Hickl GmbH, LaVision BioTec Gmbh and
PicoQuant GmbH respectively) in addition to ome-tiffs. This allows the
user, for the first time, to directly compare data from FLIM systems
available from these three manufacturers.
In addition, 4.7.1 includes bug-fixes to the loading of time-varying
backgrounds & addresses the display of inverted characters, during
segmentation, which appeared on a small number of machines.
Downloads are available from
http://downloads.openmicroscopy.org/flimfit/4.7.1/The users list for this software can be found at

Dr Ian Munro
