flow-sorting demonstrates diploidy and SDHD wild-type gene retention in
the sustentacular cell compartment of head and neck paragangliomas: chief cells
are the only neoplastic component. Douwes Dekker et al. J Pathol 2004;
202: 456–462 This paper describes the use
of DRAQ5-stained cells, co-stained with anti-S100 antibodies flow-sorted for cell
cycle position and S-100 status and then PCR’d to identify mutations (in
