Dear Tom,
the question you are asking is a bit too general.
What would you answer if I ask: "Can you recommend a car I should buy?". Most probably you would ask back a dozen questions before giving an advice.
The same thing is true for confocal microscopes. Without having hard numbers I would state the confocal microscopes of Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss are good for 90% of all the applications in life science. For the rest of the applications there might be a more or less strong preference for the one or the other instrument. But that will also be influenced by personal preferences.
So in essence: without knowing exactly what the instrument is used for I would be unable to give an advice.
Just my 2c.
Best
Arne

Hi All,
I'm not involved in the sale of Laser Scanning Confocal microscopes, however I'm frequently asked for advice, so I thought I would put out a simple request for users comments on some of their newer purchases including comparative info if available. Feel free to comment to me directly if you prefer confidentiality.
Thanks,
Tom DiMatteo
