Postdoctoral or Research Scientist Opportunity: Linking tissue organization and cellular transcription

A postdoc or research scientist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Gerner (
http://immunology.washington.edu/michael-gerner-phd) to develop novel methods for investigating how positioning of cells within tissues influences their transcriptional landscapes and the downstream phenotypic and functional states.
This position requires PhD level training in immunology, bioinformatics, or similar disciplines. Previous experience with studying single cell RNAseq or microarray datasets is desirable. The successful applicant will join a collaborative and dynamic research environment, and will be able to take advantage of the collegial surroundings provided by the UW’s Department of Immunology and the thriving research environment in Seattle.
