Dear fellow microscopists,
This is a reminder to SAVE THE DATE for this years Fall Symposium & Business
Meeting, which will be held on November 20th, 2014 at the Whitehead Institute in
Cambridge, MA. For the first time in recent history, our Symposium will have a
theme Developing Microscopy Tools and Techniques. The meeting will bring
developers of microscopy tools together with researchers interested in applying
said tools to their research. The keynote speaker will be Ben Krasnow, an inventor
from Google X, who will illustrate for us how innovation in microscopy can be done
quickly and inexpensively.
The meeting will consist of four lectures, the keynote, a coffee break, a
buffet dinner, and a business meeting in which NESM members will vote on several
Board of Directors positions. More information, including registration and speaker
abstracts and bios, will be posted later on this week.
We hope to see you in November!
