I am hiring an Image Analysis Engineer for the Biophotonics Center at the Salk Institute. This is a highly collaborative position with many opportunities for publication as well as software development in close collaboration with industry partners (e.g. Zeiss, Bitplane, etc.). Image analysis, image processing, and modeling (including deep learning-based methodologies) are all major areas of interest here. This position pays significantly more than a postdoc salary, so I expect to find someone with lots of experience and drive, but ideally someone with ambitions for an independent position in academia or industry.
