The Scottish Microscopy Group Symposia will be held in Edinburgh at Heriot-Watt University in 2016 on the 24th of November.

You can submit an abstract for a poster or short talk and we are also running an Image Competition this year with Wellcome Images attending to make the final judging!

The SMG brings together researchers from both the EM and LM microscopy community each year for a one day event, which includes talks (invited and submitted), poster sessions, a trade fair and this year a tour of the ESRIC facility. The event will showcase some of the fantastic work going on in Scotland in microscopy across a broad spectrum, from X-ray Tomography to Intra-vital imaging.  It will be a great chance to catch up with scientists from across Scotland (and the UK) in the microscopy community.
