Second Harmonic Generation

Search the CONFOCAL archive at
http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal

Hi,

does anyone have some easy-to-understand introduction into Second
Harmonic Generation?
What equipment is needed to do SHG?

Thanks for your help,

Tino

Hi

Have a look on
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6T9N-4C9G7MT-1&_user=10&_coverDate=12%2F31%2F2004&_alid=677366841&_rdoc=5&_fmt=summary&_orig=search&_cdi=5119&_sort=d&_docanchor=&view=c&_ct=8&_acct=C000050221&_version=1&_urlVersion=0&_userid=10&md5=1b429d7b699dbbe0a6ed1463b2efb901

Its has some simple basis and how to implement it in a regular confocal
microscope. As long as you have a 2P system, it would be very easy to
get a signal in the regular detectors. However, forward direction is an
added value.

If you need more details please contact me directly.

NM
