Seminar Announcement - Latest Advances in Automated Imaging Cytometry - Worcester, MA
Greetings everyone:
I am very pleased to announce the following seminar “Latest Advances in Automated Imaging Cytometry” on February 21st from 12:30 – 2:00 pm in the Hiatt Auditorium [S1-608]; Worcester Campus. Scott Baldwin MT(ASCP) will present two sessions:
1-Scientific Presentation (Cellular and Tissue Based)
· Tissue molecular pathology – new analysis capabilities for tissue and tissue microarrays, fluorescent and chromatic.
· Measurement of hypoxia and other processes, protein expression, prognostic indicators, tumor ontogeny
· Molecular cytology of the cell cycle – DNA, chromatin, and histones.
2-Laser Scanning Cytometry Presentation
· DNA/ Cell Cycle/ Apoptosis/ (islet/beta cell studies)
· Automated Tissue Analysis
· Immunophenotyping for FNA’s/pauci samples
· GFP-Related Proteins and FRET to Measure Protein Interactions
· Phosphorylation and other cell processes, transitional kinetic studies, chromosome damage and repair
· Protein localization, drug efficacy studies, toxicology studies
· Angiogenesis/antiangiogenesis, cell migration, transplant monitoring
