The MCCF focuses on tissue processing, in situ detection techniques (manual and automated) and optical microcopy to study the expression of molecular markers involved in normal development and in cancer. The laboratory adopts, develops and automates new methods, and maintains state-of-the-art-technology standards to serves the needs of the MSKCC investigators. We are seeking a highly-motivated, multi-disciplinary trained scientist with doctoral degree in Biological Sciences. The candidate should have solid background in developmental, cancer and cell biology and be able to implement all aspects of the research process at the Facility. The candidate should have experience in immunohistochemistry, RNA in situ hybridization and optical microscopy. This position offers a unique opportunity for a talented scientist to work in a dynamic and challenging environment at the heart of basic and translational research.
