Hi List,
Our MaiTai is approaching the end of its warranty and i have
been offered a service contract on it. What are people’s opinions on
service contracts on lasers? In the time it has been here nothing has gone
wrong, i have only had to replace the vapour scrubber once and that’s it.
I know the MaiTai is a complicate (and expensive) bit of
kit, but what is the failure rate of it? And of the parts that regularly fail
are they that expensive to replace?
