TRITC two-photon optimal excitation WL and reported lifetime

Search the CONFOCAL archive at http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal I want to perform FLIM on actin filaments stained with rhodamine-phalloidin (TRITC).I am running my experiments at pH 7.0 to 7.4. I found in some articles that the peak of excitation for TRITC using two-photon is around 830 nm and the lifetime values from 2.3 to 3.6 nanoseconds. Does somebody have any other numbers? any reference? Does the lifetime of Rhodamine change with ion's concentration? thanks in advance, Fernando --------------- Fernando Avila-Rencoret, MD Post-Doctoral Fellow Department of Biomedical Engineering Carnegie Mellon University
