*Technician/Research Scientist position *

The National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) has just
launched an ambitious transversal programme, HuDeCA, which aims to build
a cellular atlas of human embryonic development by combining the
expertise of several French laboratories. Our team has developed a new
approach for 3D imaging of the human embryo that combines
immunolabelling on human embryos and intact fetal organs, tissue
clearing and light-sheet microscopy imaging (See Belle et al., Cell
169:161-173, 2017). As part of the HuDeCA project, we wish to apply this
method to the visualization of many cell types during development, in
interaction with other consortium members and foreign teams involved in
the “Human Cell Atlas (HCA)” project.
*Mission *
We would like to recruit a Technician/Research Scientist on a fixed-term
contract who will be in charge of preparing the samples, acquiring them
with a light sheet microscope and processing and analyzing the images
using a computer.
*Required skills*
The candidate (Bachelor, Master or diploma level in imaging or image
processing) must have solid experience in microscopy (if possible with
light sheet) and/or microscopy image analysis using specific software,
in particular Imaris and ImageJ. The candidate must also be able to
communicate in English, work in a team and manage several projects with
a high degree of autonomy is necessary.
