The Department of Cell Biology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas
seeks to appoint exceptional scientists who are experts in the fields of general cell biology, live
cell imaging, cryoEM, or electron tomography to the position of Assistant Professor (tenure track).
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. and be doing cutting edge research at the interface between
cell and molecular biology in such areas as: organization of macromolecular complexes, molecular
interactions in living cells, spatial organization of signal transduction and cellular basis of tissue
organization.  The excellence of the individual candidate will take precedence over the area of
special interest. The successful candidate will join an internationally recognized Cell Biology
