The abstract deadline for The Histochemical Society's Annual Meeting 
Histochemistry 2011: New Trends in Immunohistochemistry and Microscopy 
is next Monday, January 31st. The meeting is organized by Eduardo Rosa 
Molinar, Univ of Puerto Rico and Nancy Sawtell, Cincinnati Children's 
Hospital. The meeting theme is Detection of Phosphorylated Proteins.
The meeting will include a plenary lecture by John Condeelis, the Judith 
& Burton P. Resnick Chair in Translational Research, Professor and 
Co-Chair, Anatomy and Structural Biology Department, Albert Einstein 
School of Medicine, NY, NY. The title of his lecture is
"Translation Of Landmarks Found By Multiphoton Imaging Of Living Breast 
Tumors To Prognosis Of Risk In Patients."
The meeting will include poster sessions and technology reviews 
utilizing the laboratories at the Marine Biological Laboratory, the site 
of this year's meeting. Meeting dates are March 30 - April 1.
