Tissue Staining

CONFOCALMICROSCOPY Digest - 7 Feb 2010 to 8 Feb 2010 (#2010-10)

Does anyone have a good reference for confocal users for proper staining of tissue sections, a how to or how not to type of protocol?

Sincerely,

Re: Tissue Staining

As a wet lab novice I have found the Immunohistochemistry Methods Express book edited by
Simon Renshaw to be extremely helpful:

Re: Tissue Staining

For people new to immunocytochemistry, I have just published a book “Immunocytochemistry: A Practical Guide for Biomedical Research”.  The book explains the steps in the procedure and then gives ways to select a method, decide on labeling system and evaluate the antibodies for an experiment.  There are five Cases where problems are presented and solved.  Although published by Springer, the print copy is only about $80 (Amazon.com and enter Richard Burry) or  as a PDF on line at http://www.springer.com/life+sciences/biochemistry+%26+biophysics/book/978-1-4419-1303-6
