We are trouble shooting the lack of communication between our Z-driver for
our Nikon E-800 to our Mac G3 computer for our OpenLab aquisition system.
As seen in the subject there are a lot of communications needed to
coordinate stage levels. I'm curious as to who may still be knowlegeble or
may have a working system using these items.
For those with a working system do you have three connections to your
Keyspan? (Two to the Orbit and one to the computer? If so, what
connections beside the computer are you connected?) On your Conix
computerized Z-Motor do you have a 232 connection to the microscope stage
step motor?
