Manager of a newly formed Light Microscopy Core at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Primary roles will be to supervise a Core facility with newly installed Nikon AR1+ and Nikon N-SIM N-STORM microscopes.
The Manager of the Light Microscopy Center will be responsible for daily operations of the Light Microscopy Center. The Center specializes in immunological and advanced localization techniques. The successful applicant will help develop the academic programs of researchers throughout the medical center and beyond. Candidates must be highly skilled in operation & maintenance of contemporary, high-end microscopes. The Light Microscopy Manager will be responsible for developing and providing training for all microscope end users. Candidates will also assist with design to customize and optimize experimental protocols. The Manager will also be responsible for managing the operational costs for the Center
