Vacu-Cell perfusion chambers

Hi All,

I am really keen to buy one of the Vacu-Cell mini perfusion chambers made by C&L Instruments. I've tried repeatedly to call and email them without reply.

Does anyone know if they are still in business or if there is another source of their chambers please?

Thanks,
Kevin.

Re: Vacu-Cell perfusion chambers

Hi Kevin,
One of my users has the large Vacu-Cell and they were trying to contact the company about 6 months ago to purchase more coverslips.  We also could not reach them, and eventually gave up.  We were able to find another source for the large coverslips required for their cell.  I am not sure if the company went out of business, but it seems that way.

Also, you should know that after they ordered their Vacu-cell originally it took the company about 6 months to deliver it!  The cell works well for their application, but does have problems with sealing and transferring of vibrations from the vacuum and syringe pumps to the stage.  We ended up building a special holder for the Vacu-cell to mount onto our microscope to help with this.  I would be curious to see if there are alternatives as well.
Best of Luck,
Brooke
