Pre-register (required) at:
www.magbiosystems.com/education Details: ===================== Performing object tracking/motility studies with the goal of statistically quantifying motion can be a daunting task. Living cells, for example, may cross the paths of other cells, make contact with other objects, move outside of the imaging volume, or undergo cell division during an experiment. Further complications are introduced when attempting to image especially delicate specimens under demanding conditions where image quality may be suboptimal. Extracting accurate measurements from such data sets requires careful attention to all experimental parameters and the assistance of powerful image processing and analysis tools that are designed for such studies. Attendees will see how such
studies can be performed with 2D time series data and on 4D (3D volume over
time) image sets and will be shown some of the many measurements (e.g. velocity
and displacement) that can be performed on both individual objects and on entire
populations.
Bring your questions to this live, interactive web-based
