YMW 2009 additions
Dear Colleagues,
There have been a few notable additions to the list of equipment
and software that will be coming to the Yale Microscopy Workshop that
will be held June 9 -11th 2009. This free event is a combination of
symposia, classes and open access to functional microscopes and
analytic software. It is the perfect opportunity to compare
instruments, get advice or try out something new.
In addition to the wide array of instruments and software that
were previously known to be available for use during this free event
(http://microscopy.med.yale.edu/equipment.html), the following will
also be present:
Perkin Elmer UltraVIEW VOX spinning disk
Applied Precision personal DeltaVision widefield
Hyugens deconvolution software
Olympus FV10i self-contained LSM with incubator
Olympus FSX100 self-contained and compact widefield
(East Coast debuts!)
Please see the website for free registration and a schedule of
events. http://microscopy.med.yale.edu/index.html
Need to try out an instrument that is not on the list but
manufactured by a vendor that is already participating? Write to an
organizer and we'll see if they can bring it.
