It seemed at one time there were only a few vendors of the Yokogawa and
now there are a ton since the X1 has come out.
As opposed to bringing everyone out, I was hoping that the listserv could help
me.
Of course all the companies will tell me that they will completely support the
product and once it is plugged in there is only a few minor tweeks here and
there, but I have a hard time believing that. I would obviously like to get the
most out of my purchase, so price is a factor but also support.
I know that Perkin Elmer is a very large company and I would assume that it
could supply the most support. But it seems that it also carries the largest
price. So I was hoping that those who have the new ultraview can comment
on this. Is the price tag really worth it?
Another company I am curious about is Solamere Technology, George Peeters.
My understanding is that it is a fairly small company. The system seems to
be very competitively priced, but from my understanding he builds the laser
launch. How much support does his device take? Is it CDRH Certified? He is
not local to me, so I am curious from those that he is not local too, how much
support does he provide?
Again, when you ask them for references only the good come out. I was
hoping that y'all could email me on the side with the good, the bad, and the
ugly. If there are other companies that I should or should not look at please
let me know.
Much appreciated for all who respond.
