Hello,

recently we upgraded our Zeiss AxioImager.Z2 with new Hamamatsu ORCA Fusion camera and used standard 1x C-mount top adapter to mount the camera. Surprisingly we see dark shadows in the image corners. We identified that shadows are from C-mount adapter - we measured the inner diameter of C-mount and it is less than 22 mm. Camera has sensor which should fit into 22 mm FOV.
I wanted to ask you if you have similar problems with this camera on other microscopes? And is C-mount inner diameter different in different brands of microscopes?

Thanks a lot. Best regards,

Milan

Hi all,

I had have the same problem. So i do mi own adaptator. You have four threads on the front ring.
Use them to design your adaptator. I bought all components in Thorlabs.

I can send you an image
