Dear Microscope User,
The PC used to control the Zeiss confocal microscope has crashed a couple of times over the last two weeks. The System C: drive was full, so I cleared some space and will defragment the hard drives ASAP. However, I would advise any users who haven't backed up their data to do so soon. If the problem returns, I'll call the Zeiss engineer, but it is likely to be a Windows XP or PC problem rather than confocal hardware.
