I know two US based companies: Arcroyal and LSMtech. I have been using
the service of the second one and am very happy. On their webpage they
say to provide service worldwide. No commercial interest.

We use LSM Tech to service a Zeiss LSM 510 META system on a maintenance contract. They are excellent, but I don't know if they do work outside North America.

Hello List,


Please advise on ImageXpress Micro Confocal maintenance/repair options.


We have this device that is out of warranty but the usage is only <1000hrs/yr.
Therefore regular service contract (almost double of one for  other confocals) seems
too expensive. We are thinking about going with the service/repair as it is needed option.


Please share your experience on the cost of maintenance/repairs. The device has 20,000 hr
solid stae light source, and user manual has chapters on device configuration/testing and
maintenance. Is there any important maintenance that is not described in the manual?
