Good Morning All,

Is the LSM880 objective nosepiece thread size an M27 x 0.75? I’m trying to use an Olympus objective with a thread size of W20.32×0.706 (RMS). And I’m considering the RMSA3 - Adapter with External M27 x 0.75 Threads and Internal RMS Threads from Thor Labs. https://www.thorlabs.com/thorproduct.cfm?partnumber=RMSA3

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Eric,
yes, new Zeiss objectives are M27 x 0.75, but the thread adapter should have
a flange so it can be tightened in the objective turret. See the following
pictures (ask your Zeiss rep, thy might lend you one):

Hi Eric,
I use that Thorlabs adapter for RMS objectives on the lsm880. Just make sure you keep the indents on the adapter facing out so you can unscrew the adapter.
Cheers
