Since we have a multi laser bench, the first option we thought was the Zeiss TIRF slider which could be inserted/adapted in to the zeiss epifluorescence platforms. After requesting a quote for the same we were told that Zeiss is Discontinuing the LASER TIRF and can not quote for the same. Is it true or is it only for the south Asian market ?and Is there any idea on how are they planning to equip the TIRF on the existing epifluorescence systems lie Axioobservers in the future? It is a bit hard for us to get a timely and clear response through our Indian Vendors. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot and have a nice week ahead Deepak -- Deepak Nair Assistant Professor Centre for Neuroscience Indian Institute of Science Bangalore 560012 |

Michael is right that they pulled down the TIRF slider John, the feedback from zeiss indicate that they will continue to provide TIRF with Elyra ( No commercial interest) Best Deepak On Fri, Apr 14, 2017 at 12:30 AM, John Oreopoulos < [hidden email]> wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > Post images on http://www.imgur.com and include the link in your posting. > ***** > > What about the Zeiss Elyra?
