best confocal for direct coupling

Dear all,
    I would like to gather some opinions about which commercial confocal
microscope you would prefer if you need to directly couple excitation light and
emission fluorescence to light sources and detector, respectevely.

I need full control of the emission and excitation polarization. For the time
being, I see the Nikon C1 and the Olympus FV300 good options, although in
both cases the scan head requires modifications.
