consumer camera adapter for stereomicroscope

Hi,

We want to add photo-documentation to a Leica MZ6
stereomicroscope with a side-port that ends in a
c-mount. We are thinking of (cheap) consumer
digital cameras for the purpose. We favour these
cameras since they are cheap and portable.
Captured images will be used for demonstration purposes.

Anybody using such a configuration, could comment
on best combination of video adapter and camera?
