Dear Listers,
Since the September 15th application deadline is approaching, I would like to draw your attention one more time to our job ad:
The Center for Structural Systems Biology in Hamburg has a job opening for a core facility manager heading the brand-new Advanced Light and Fluorescence Microscopy Facility (ALFM).
The successful candidate will build-up and manage the newly created Advanced Light and Fluorescence Microscopy Facility (ALFM) at the Center for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB Campus Hamburg-Bahrenfeld). The ALFM currently comprises 10 microscopes in an S2 environment with SIM, GSD, confocal, live-cell and other fluorescence microscopes. The focus is on techniques to study the infection processes of pathogens and their effects on the host. Particular emphasis is placed on correlative cryo-microscopy using dedicated cryo-CLEM systems and a close connection to the CSSB cryo-EM facility. Proximity to DESY and European XFEL allows further correlation with structural biological methods.
