I have used ImagePro for many years and the 2D tracking works quite well for
some objects, like bacteria or single cells. I agree it depends.... Overall, I would recommend it. 3D not so much. I would be happy to chat of line. Dear Richard, As said in my previous post, I worked with volocity a lot for in vivo cell tracking (lymph nodes). What I would like to eventually do is 3D particle tracking within live cells. But to start with it is going to be mainly "regular" fixed cell imaging and analysis. And I also have to admit that my budget is not that large right now and if I buy Imaris for example and only use a little part of it I will feel it is wasted. I'm trying to get demo versions of both software to test them side by side, but I still like to hear about other people's experience. Thanks for the infos, JP Confocal Microscopy List <[hidden email]> wrote on 01/27/2009 07:50:45 AM: > I have used ImagePro for many years and the 2D tracking works quite well for > some objects, like bacteria or single cells.
