Hi everyone,

  Does anyone know of a supplier for cover glass for 2x3" (5 x 7.6cm)
slides that are of higher precision thickness (e.g., 170+-5 microns)?

  I'm finding these easily enough for 1x3 slides, but not for bigger slides.

Probably better off with thicker coverglasses that are uniform
thickness, than "170 um" that are not.

Coverglass correction collar objective lenses are available. Also,
current GPU deconvolution (www.microvolution.com -- you can also check
with SVI.nl for huygens) can correct for non-optimal coverglass thickness.

Real coverglass thickness -- at least at the edges -- are easy to
measure by standing up the coverglass vertically and imaging with the
microscope.
