[8]) with a size of 0.5 inch × 3 inch and a thickness of 1 mm 0.5 x 3 inch 12.7 x 76.19 mm I found following article I cant get a hold of, but Corning assured me they don't have these slides. To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy ***** Axel, I can't get the article unless I pay $ 30.00, but I'm wondering whether this is just a typo. 1" x 3" x 1 mm (or 25 mm x 75 mm x 1 mm) would be a standard microscope slide. This is also the format typically used for micro arrays. Does it look from the figure that their slide is half the width of a normal slide? Does it need to be?.... -- Julio Vazquez Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center 1100 Fairview Ave. N., mailstop DE-512 Seattle, WA 98109-1024 http://www.fhcrc.org On Dec 10, 2010, at 2:37 AM, Axel Kurt Preuss wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > ***** > > Dear List > > Would anybody know a vendor who offers > > Glass slides (Corning Inc. A Google search for "custom microscope slide" gave me a few hits, such as this company that creates custom microfluidics slides: http://www.translume.com/slides.htm and this site lists slide/glass manufacturers: http://www.thomasnet.com/products/microscope-slides-75850602-1.html -- Julio Vazquez Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Seattle, WA 98109-1024 http://www.fhcrc.org/ On Dec 10, 2010, at 2:37 AM, Axel Kurt Preuss wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > ***** > > Dear List > > Would anybody know a vendor who offers > > Glass slides (Corning Inc.
